Hey writers, you know that manuscript you have been editing and re-editing…or that one you threw in a drawer (or saved on a flash drive that is now in a drawer, cause who doesn’t use a computer these days?)…well it’s time to unleash your genius on the world.
We are now just a couple of weeks away from the beginning of the 2013 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Contest.
The categories for the contest are: General Fiction, Romance, Mystery/Thriller, Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror and Young Adult Fiction.
The Grand Prize is $50,000 advance and a publishing contract, with four First Prize winners also receiving a contract and a $15,000 advance.
I know I will be entering, I hope all of you will be too!

Awesome! It’s helping me try and get my revising done right away, so I have something to enter as well.
I might have to wait until next year…the manuscript for the first book still needs a couple more weeks before editing. But I wish you the best of luck and want to thank you for blogging about this– it’s encouraging to know that such contests exist!!
