Have You Seen This Man…
…if you are single and in your thirties, I am going to guess you have. About a year ago, I began to notice “this man” constantly popping up on sidebar ads of my social media pages. In the past few weeks, since I was forced to upgrade my email account, he is now showing up in the sidebar there as well.
I have personally never used an online dating service, but somehow the internet trolls have figured out that I am single, and therefore, they bombard me with the face of of this salt-and-pepper gentleman who is supposedly single and looking for love in my area. (I could go so far as to guess that he likes long walks on the beach, yellow labs, and Jimmy Buffett…but we haven’t really gotten that far into our relationship.)
Seeing him over and over on a daily basis got me to thinking…who is this man? Did he ever actually have an online dating account? Is he aware that his face is showing up on social media platforms of single gals everywhere? Does he always wear that necklace? What is he drinking out of that cup? So many questions!

And is it just me, or is it absurdly creepy that facebook knows about our dating lives??
Lol…It is VERY creepy they they figure us out so quickly…sometimes I feel that if I even *think* about some random thing, the trolls know, and suddenly it up on those sidebars.

You ask some serious questions, though. Bottom line: this guy likely has no clue how he’s being used. Makes you wonder about the internet. And don’t get me started on Facebook 
I remember seeing a Dateline about a woman who, unbeknownst to her, was the face of several diet ads. I’m sure this guy is in the same boat.
